Hey - question: One of my teachers uses the traditional grip but won't teach me how to use it as says he doesn't want to teach me the wrong way! What are your thoughts on using the traditional grip???

I know both very well and have used them both for years...although I picked matched as my preferred grip a few years back while finishing up college. There's no right or wrong grip, it really has to do with your preference...

All of this being said, I've got a series of video posts that I'll be filming in the next week and posting...I'll be explaining each grip, how to use it, how to work on it, etc...and then if you want to use traditional you can just learn it from me...I'll teach you the right way for both and then you can pick which you like better...
