Beginner Beat Displacement

Here's a lesson on something that every drummer has fun doing...confusing the band! Just be sure you know where the "1" is, lol!

This is a beginner lesson on how to begin to displace the groove.

    Awesome lesson! I love messing around with beat displacement, haha. Once you get started with 16th offsets and stuff... whew! I really love offsetting only the bass and snare and leaving the hats the same, you can do some really trippy stuff with that. I need to do some videos of it!
